Air Force School AFA Hyderabad was established in 1975 under the aegis of IAF Educational and Cultural Society registered under the society Registration Act XXI 1860. The school has been registered with IAF Educational and Cultural society vide registration no. PPS/38/TC date 01 Apr 2014.
Air Force School at Air Force Academy started functioning in a tented accommodation in 1970 with 23 students and it moved to its own building in 1973-74. The school has grown over the years to where it presently stands.
